OBTAINING A PERMIT TO DISCHARGE POLLUTANTS INTO THE ENVIRONMENT

Wastewater discharge is understood as the process of diverting polluted water from the place of human activity.

Who needs a permit for the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere A permit for the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere must be issued to all individual entrepreneurs and legal entities that have at their disposal stationary sources of emission of pollutants.

The discharge of sewage (drainage) water within the boundaries of 2 economic and other facilities put into operation or a building permit is allowed in compliance with sanitary norms and rules (Sanitary Code of Turkmenistan (2009).

It is strictly unacceptable to discharge wastewater into reservoirs, the water from which is used for technical needs, irrigation of agricultural land and domestic needs. Also, it is impossible to dump wastewater containing pathogenic bacteria and parasites into water bodies.

1. Emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air by stationary sources (hereinafter - emissions of pollutants);

2. Discharges of pollutants as part of wastewater into water bodies (hereinafter - pollutant discharges);

In terms of their geometry, they can be point (emission occurs from a fixed hole), linear (emissions along a set line, for example, window openings), areal (emission from a certain area, for example, a reservoir).

Wastewater may not be discharged into water bodies also in the following cases: if it can be reused; if they contain valuable substances that can be seized from them.

Temporarily permitted discharges are established when applying for a permit for temporary discharges based on the actual indicators of the volume and (or) mass of pollutant discharges, which are determined based on the maximum concentration of the pollutant, except for the period of implementation ...

Temporarily permitted emissions, temporarily permitted discharges are set for the period of implementation of the environmental protection action plan or the implementation of the environmental efficiency improvement program in accordance with the schedule for achieving the established allowable emission standards, allowable discharge standards,
