VESSEL PASSPORT is an operational document that contains all the necessary information about the product, it also contains the values of the assigned indicators, operating parameters and main performance characteristics, in addition, information about the tests performed, if those are necessary according to the rules of production, certification, registration, examination. This document must be with the container from the time of issue until disposal. The developed and approved form of a pressure vessel passport is an official confirmation that the company has fulfilled all obligations to customers and provides a quality product for use. Development and execution of the document. A duplicate of the passport of the vessel is compiled during the production, purchase of the vessel abroad, in case of loss of the passport, if it is impossible to use the passport for its intended purpose due to its dilapidation or damage. When transferring the boiler to another owner, a passport is transferred along with the vessel.
The passport of a pressure vessel is not just an accompanying paper, but a real document, therefore, increased requirements are placed on its development. They are determined by the provisions of the PB and the requirements of GOSTs. It is important that the information provided be presented in an accessible and understandable way even for non-professionals.
Today, two forms of a vessel passport have been developed:
1. For vessels operating under pressure over 0.07 MPa or vacuum;
2. For vessels that perform their work under pressure or without it - for filling.
The vessel passport contains the following sections:
1.General data;
2.Technical characteristics and parameters; (Lifetime)
3.Data on safety valves (Devices);
4.Data on water level indicators;
5.Data on the main reinforcement;
6.Data on the main equipment for measurement, control, signaling, regulation and automatic protection;
7. Feeding and circulation pumps;
8.Data on the main elements of the boiler made of sheet steel;
9.Data on boiler elements made of pipes;
10.Data on fittings, covers, flat bottoms, adapters, flanges with fasteners (Bolts, studs, nuts);
11.Measurement results of boiler bodies, drums, collectors made of sheet steel or forgings;
12.Conclusion of the manufacturer;
13.Information about the location of the boiler;
14.Person responsible for the good condition and safe operation of the boiler;
15.Information about the installed fittings (In case of repair or reconstruction);
16.Information about the replacement and repair of pressure boiler elements;
17. Drawings of the boiler room (plan and cross-section, and, if necessary, a longitudinal section) and a certificate of installation quality are attached to this passport;
18. Survey results;
19. Registration in the State Standard.
